The 18-pin electrode adapter board (Part #C3418) facilitates custom electrode wiring by bringing out all electrode contacts from a headstage – as well as reference and ground – to solder holes spaced 0.10″ (2.54 mm) horizontally and 0.15″ (3.81 mm) vertically. Wires or other connectors may be soldered to the holes in the adapter boards.

To reduce noise pickup, the lengths of added wires should be minimized, and the wires should be bundled together to avoid creating open loops that can pick up inductive interference.

This board includes a 16-pin DIP socket that may optionally be soldered to the board to support NeuroNexus A, OA, or D16 acute electrode connectors.
